Whether you want to celebrate a special occasion, or simply want to do something different for the day, one does no longer feel satisfied with mainstream or fancy restaurants. That is how some of the most unique themed bars and restaurants in London came to be. The themes vary, and so do the menus, making each one of them more special than the last, thus raising the appeal of London even more. Here you can find our favorite Themed Bars and Restaurants in London!
Bunga Bunga Battersea
From its entrance to its décor, to its menu, this bar screams 90s Italy. Even its name is an Italian joke reference! All around the bar are some iconic and traditional Italian pieces, which make the place more appealing and complete the overall look. Here you can enjoy mouth-watering pizzas, and sipping on some authentic cocktails while singing along to the karaoke machine, or the invited performers. Bunga Bunga Battersea also offers cooking classes, specifically pizza making ones, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and a smaller club venue on the second floor for those interested.
Trapeze
Welcome to the show! This unique bar is something out of every child’s dream, and it has been adapted to meet every group-age expectation. The tables and sitting areas resemble parts of carousels, and they are all in different vibrant colors accentuating everything. Hanged on the walls, you can see clown costumes and other circus relics or pictures. The menu is inspired by American diners and the usual treats they serve at carnivals, or circuses, such as chicken, French fries, burgers etc, which have been personalized by Trapeze, by adding different ingredients. As for the drinks, they offer some fun and delicious cocktails, which are served in circus themed, miniature party buses. Trapeze also offers other activities such as Happy Hour from 4-10pm, every Monday to Wednesday, 50% off on menus until 6 pm, live performances, circus acts, DJ music and ‘King Pong’ on Wednesdays.
The Pizza Playground
The Pizza Playground restaurant is somewhere in the middle of every man’s dream ‘man-cave’, and an arcade parlor. Trying to stay true to their business, the staff and creators of Pizza Pilgrim went off to Italy, in search of the perfect Italian pizza recipe. When they found it, and they had perfected their art (and picked up some other recipes along the way), they returned to London with an improved concept. Pizza Pilgrims opened a few pizzerias, each different from the other in designs and space, but the one that truly holds the crown is the themed Pizza Playground. You can stop by to enjoy some delicious pizza accompanied by drinks, all the while playing on Nintendo, with some of the most iconic and favorite games for everyone or pinball machines. No one is too old for this kind of fun!
Flight Club Shoreditch
What used to be known as ‘Social Darts’, was soon turned to Flight Club Shoreditch by a couple of friends who came up with the idea long ago. This bar is an all in one deal, which combines game entertainment, food, and drinks. Almost all of their guests have given amazing reviews and it has been awarded several times for its success. Different activities can be Speed Darting, Lunch Hour and Brunch Socials. As for the menu, you can find the usual bar snacks, amazing burgers, Italian cuisine, and other European dishes.
